About us
La Casa Urbana is a leading cultural organisation, part of the social fabric since it was founded in October 2015. With a deeply creative, driving and energising outlook, it works to strengthen the professional cultural sector, supporting new entrepreneurs and building an essential bridge between culture and society. Our mission goes beyond the purely artistic: we treat culture as a powerful tool for social cohesion, integration and the empowerment of young people and their families.

Environmental quality
In refurbishing the new premises, the organisation made a substantial effort to reduce its environmental impact by bringing in sustainable measures. These include automatic switches and LED lighting throughout the venue to cut energy use, self-closing taps to reduce water consumption, better recycling points to encourage separate collection, and sustainable procurement. La Casa Urbana has also renewed its environmental commitment this year by updating its Programa de Acuerdos Voluntarios, which adds to the Distintiu de Garantia de Qualitat Ambiental awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya, held since last year.

Where we are
The Cultura Híbrida venue run by La Casa Urbana is at carrer Francesc Layret, 5 – 08750 Molins de Rei (Barcelona), in an excellent location for both its surroundings and its transport links.
Just 1 minute on foot from the Collserola Natural Park, the space breathes nature, quiet and greenery, well suited to creative work, training or cultural events with character. At the same time it is surrounded by local services, shops, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants that make the stay easy for participants and visitors.
We are very well connected:
